The ‘Art’ of Conversation.

Have you heard conversation referred to as ‘Art’?  And it is our creativity at its very best.

To Be human is to create, and our brain is the size it is for our creativity, and particularly our creation of our speech.

It is a true game of skill to enable another’s creativity for their benefit, while enhancing our own verbal time with another, so that we bring into reality, that which we ourselves wish to create. Hence the term, the ‘Art of Conversation.’ To ‘make’ something come to the mind of another, for their sharing. 🙂

I use the term ‘verbal table tennis’ for that all too common question and answer habit, stemming from ignorance, that disables our own creative ability with our words, and distracts us from the very point of speech. But this isn’t conversation…

And Present moment sharing, is putting a voice to what comes to mind ‘to share’.  This can come from a zen state, a thoughtless space, a mindless space, and is not the space we need to enter into to retrieve something from our ‘data files’, via the mind, as when to answer a question.  This isn’t conversation either…

‘Conversation’ on the other hand IS a creation. Removing us from just the Present moment, yes, as need be, for examples and explanation, or as our creativity requires of it, but it is our own creation all the same.

Direct questioning, or direct answering of one another, is not, and is where we are giving our focus, intent and creativity completely away.  In ‘conversation’ – an invention of ours – we are still not designed to be asking questions of one another, unless invited to do so on a topic.

The true art of conversation involves the skill of bringing to the mind of your listener, for their sharing, what it is you wish to hear or learn of, or have them share with you, for their pleasure.  This is a skill.  Or maybe you only wish to keep them near you, for their vibe or pleasure you get from looking at them, but want them to enjoy time spent with you.

Questioning one another directly as though we are encyclopedias, is ‘lost’ behavior, 😉 symptomatic of our creativity gone wrong, from where we enabled those with authority greater power of questioning, so it began to be something desired, to seem to hold a greater respect, or higher position in society.

We are vast and we are magnificent, and we are designed to be completely in the driver seat of where our consciousness is directed, as we direct it.

What we think of or focus on, is where our creative power goes for that moment. To be able to control the attention of another, their consciousness, their entire creative ability, is an honor and privilege.

It is a true game of skill to enable another’s creativity for their benefit, while enhancing our own verbal time with another, so that we bring into reality, that which we ourselves wish to create.
Hence the term, the ‘Art of Conversation.’ 🙂

Self Mastery Tip / Lesson : Speech

Our design is to be creating our reality with our thoughts and words, as we go from moment to moment, using our wisdom and our creativity to make the best choices for our life path, and the world at large.

We are not designed to be firing questions at one another as in so doing so we are directing another’s consciousness around.

They are not us, and we are not them, 😉 and it is for each of us to say the next thing that comes to us to say, to create OUR reality.    This is essential to get ourselves ON our path, and to stay ON our path.

A TIP~ If it is challenging to go straight from a habit of questioning another, to a habit of sharing what ‘comes to mind’, try this!

Begin with a question that will start this off, such as:

“Do you have anything you feel to say?”
“Do you want to say anything to me?”
“Is there anything you would like to share?”

These will help break the habit of directing another what to think of, AND develop the new habit of each human present sharing what THEY each want to share.

Historically people developed the questioning ‘skill’ to help in ‘making conversation’, considered a social skill, an ‘art’ and taught in finishing schools.  How many topics a ‘lady’ could speak on, part of schooling in various etiquette schools

If someone did not have something to share, they were asked questions to encourage them.  But a made-up conversation is just that, REMOVED from in the now, and in-the-moment-reality relating. It is off-track, off-path and unnatural and not part of our design.

Some one may not have something to share with very good reason.  This could be that they are ‘in development’ why make comments when they can be better suited to listen, ponder, dream, imagine, learn, create and process within?

Sometimes it is talking just because the silence is a cause of discomfort for us.  In this silence we are face with our selves. This is our time to check in on US, do what healing and clearing we need to do, to sense everything, to feel, to send our consciousness to other aspects of us.

Silence is a natural state for us, and we are not designed to be filling it with words.  Silence shapes our words, and gives them their substance!

I repeat: Our design is to be creating our reality with our thoughts and words, as we go from moment to moment, using our wisdom and our creativity to make the best choices for our life path, and the world at large. 🙂

English language Alone Is Not Enough.

The English language on its own, is not enough to maintain a human being in health.

I am noticing in agreement now, from various sources, it  being found that being bilingual can make you smarter.  What I am saying with concern, is that English is not adequate for us.

English on its own – as is its habit, like an invasive plant that toxifies the soil driving out competing species – is not adequate to ensure we develop the intellectual reasoning ability that we require just to live a healthy functioning life.

To quote a paper on bilingual development also advertising a method style of language teaching cards:

“…the collective evidence from a number of recent studies suggests that the bilingual experience improves the brain’s so-called executive function — a command system that directs the attention processes that we use for planning, solving problems, and performing various other mentally demanding tasks.*

Yes.  The executive functioning referred to here is precisely what I term our ‘intellectual reasoning ability’.  Or, that which gives us the ability to reason – concur – analyze – determine – think with strategy – so that we may then choose the best decision for the best outcome for our life, and life as we know it – and may know it.

Can it be we are already suffering as a planet large-scale from this inadequate reasoning ability?  Oh yes.

‘Chronic deficiency syndrome’ is apparent where ever English is found in its smallest vocabulary use. I find it to be very common now in Australia, England and the U.S. Only where English speakers develop themselves an extra vocabulary size, in their own time given them by financial freedom and motivation to do so, can they avoid this disorder.

On its own, the English language will not naturally develop a brain that is sufficient for a healthy, top-performance-potential reaching human life, as do the others organically.  It cannot, simply by way of its structure and ad-hoc design.  It is the made-up, artificial, ‘plastic’ of all the human languages.

It is the ‘meant well for the self-gain of the ruling class’, advertising, strength of rule, wealth, people and land amassed & controlled, and for economic growth purposes.  It is part of an entirely artificially creative construct where people were kept divided and restricted into classes and jobs performed, and vocabularies restricted to what was required in tasks performed.

Like cigarette smoking, spraying DDT and many other such examples where we have come to think better of, it was a bad idea for our made up, thrown-together-in-haste ‘English construct’ to become so wide-spread. 😉

Seriously.  It was found in schools in Australia last year – with some concern – how the English-language only Australian children were performing badly compared to the ‘migrant’ or new arrivals from other countries.   I am not surprised, and I expect it.

I remind you I am also British with family there I am very fond of, and I say this in respect of all British people. I believe ‘Chronic deficiency syndrome’, in addition to all the other referenced mental and emotional illnesses in British history, already to have played a starring role in the way much of the world has been made to follow Britain down one of its own industrial drains…

Other western European countries played out some horrific parts in history also, sure enough all us French, Spanish and Portuguese speakers – where ever we are – there is a reason for it!   But, I believe an enormous part of this, was to ‘out-British’ the British!   To keep Britain smaller.

And so that ‘race’ to claim wealth that your neighbors were taking, just for your own survival as otherwise they would take over you too, WAS ON!  “Kill or be killed.” “Steal or be stolen from.”   This, my mother taught me a a child,  had been the way, and what English people had been taught.

Other languages are healthier for us than English, and it is necessary for these other-language developed humans, to play a starring role now, in seeing us to a healthier and better managed planet.  Take enormous well deserved pride in knowing your own country’s health maintenance history.  Especially if you are from a naturally warm/hot country that led us to more of this creative development.

If you do not already have English-only as your language, but still possess your ‘home language’ – excellent! Keep the learning of English as it was designed – a ‘trade’ language – useful to have, but not sufficient on its own.

I am reminded of a joke I was told in Edinburgh Scotland that caused me to laugh and laugh 😀

Q. “What do you call someone who speaks lots of languages?”                       A. “Multi-lingual”

Q. “What do you can someone who can speak two languages?”                      A.  “Bilingual”

Q. “What do you call someone who can only speak one language?”               A. “English!”

Keep your home language with pride, and speak it in your home and to your youngsters.  have the courtesies of your language proudly displayed on the wall or over a fire mantelpiece so visitors can comfortably fit in and show respect! 🙂

If I Make Sound, I Exist?

My mother forbade me from making a sound, so she could pretend I didn’t exist.  I also had to “keep out of sight and out of mind.”

Starting life in the situation of not being allowed to speak, made it easy for me to see that many people were taking it for granted.  They could speak so easily, and how I wished I could too….

But they were playing ‘verbal table tennis’ with it I thought, and completely wasting it.  Did they not know how it created our lives?
It seemed not.

use words I am the creater of my life, I am n

Language is our greatest creative tool.  Self mastery is knowing to carefully choose from our thoughts which ones to ‘activate’.  When we decide to speak, we shape our sound that is our emotional state and we give it recognizable meaning.

Each vocal expression, shares with the Universe and everyone in audible range, our emotion, intent, soul essence, declaration – by way of our chosen series of words or ‘spell’ – and ALL in a unique combination of sound frequencies that are carried on our breath/ life force.
A ‘spell’ is simply a carefully chosen series of words, spoken with intent.  There is NO difference between a spell, and every day speech, using our language with full creative power ability.

All throughout English history there have been developments in language but all stemming from ignorance as to the greater point of Human language ability.  Lots of silly repetitive phrasing double negatives, puns and jokes and slang and more….but when we come down to it, we do need to be learning how to speak again!!!!  I find the English language construct inadequate for our intellectual reasoning developmental ability anyway.  I am extremely concerned with what occurs when English is even further limited as is common in Australia with the chronic shortening of words.  Many of us now, particularly English only speakers, suffer to varying degrees from a ‘chronic deficiency syndrome’ or a marked reduction in functioning and development because of a severely reduced vocabulary.  As Humans we are our language.

I was not allowed to develop speech and after surviving all attempts to harm me, needed this ability when I lived to school age, and started school. Children tormented me when I was not able to say my name in front of the class as we were all made to do the first day. Very shy and not wanting to be bullied or teased any more, I quickly learned how to ‘get through’ life with minimal speech. And every coping strategy I could creatively design to seem as though I did not have enormous speech problems.
How I wished I could speak with ease, but I was able to get the insight with ease instead, as to what speech we actually need as humans, and what speech is adverse or negates creating our best life!

“I am” is our greatest creative building block we can use. When we make a negative comment we waste our creative ability.
We can speak, and totally negate any creative intent simply by incorrect phrasing! Try instead to aim to speak maximizing your creativity.
Silence is pretty cool too! Do you need to comment to something – or would silence make a more amazing impact?
Silence shapes our sound. Silence assists activation of our chosen phrases, giving them greater power. Begin with intending to speak what is your truth. You are not designed to only be saying what others say.
Chances are you are able to speak without the problems I had, so what if you could have a much better life, just by speaking differently?
It is a miracle, use it wisely!

So if I am silent do I cease to exist? 😉

Do you need to make a comment – or would silence make a more amazing impact? Perhaps silence IS the answer, allowing you to receive respectfully and ponder it.more deeply?

Silence enables us the space to receive messages and choose from our thoughts.  Silence gives us a safe place where we can check in on our Self.  Some people find silence too scary and threatening, if they do not know how to face what comes to them in that space, or how to deal with the energies there, that are waiting to leave us.

In speech, it is silence that shapes our sound.  Silence assists activation of our chosen phrases, giving them greater power.  We exist, arguably in our receiving state…and a VERY important state for a human being to Be in, AS IS OUR DESIGN. 🙂
